Original oil painting on Masonite by John McCray (California, Berkeley School, 1912-1993), dated 1950. In its original frame and still bearing an exhibition label from the James McCray Exhibition at the San Francisco Museum of Art giving the title of the piece (Post Hydrogen Bomb 11), the date (1950), etc. This painting is signed l.r. In very good condition. 16" by 22" painting alone, 24" by 30" in its original frame. James McCray is a major California artist and teacher (Sam Francis and John Grillo were among his many students).
