| Original two sided watercolor by Jack Schnitzius (American, born 1931). On side one, a wharf scene, signed l.l. with monogram, also dated 1960. On side two a depiction of the famous Heinold's First and Last Chance Bar in Oakland (made famous by Jack London and many others). Offered in good condition, unframed. 15" by 22". Jack Schnitzius was born in Chicago, and studied at the AIC and at the San Francisco Art Institute. He lived and was active as a painter, architect, and city planner in Oakland and San Francisco. One of a number of works by this artist currently in our inventory. | |
