| Original abstract bronze sculpture by David E. Davis (Romanian-born, Ohio-based American sculptor, 1920-2002). This bronze is in excellent condition. It is mounted on a black base which measures 4" by 8" while the sculpture itself is 7" high and 5" wide. The work is signed in the bronze "David E. Davis". It is also dated 1978, numbered 24/48, and titled "HG IX". David E. Davis is an internationally known abstract expressionist sculptor. He has had 20 one-man shows. His work in in the collections of the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Akron Museum, etc. He has completed 21 commissions for outdoor sculpture, mainly in Florida and Ohio. He is listed in all the usual databases. | |
