| Original painting (gouache on paper) by Adolf Dehn (American, 1895-1968), in excellent original condition. This painting is signed l.r. It also bears a handwritten label with the signature of the artist and the title of the painting (Haiti #7). 7" by 10" painting alone, 12" by 15" in its original frame. Dehn is a major American painter and lithographer. He spent some time in Haiti in 1948 and 1949, and produced a number of works (paintings and lithographs) with Haitian subjects. We also currently have a color lithograph by Dehn with a Haitian subject. Please inquire. | |
