| Original oil painting on board by Alexander (Alex) Redein (American, 1912-1990) offered in excellent original condition. This painting measures 20" by 16" (25" by 21" framed). It is signed "Redein" and dated "51" l.r. It is also signed "Alex Redein", titled "June Jarvis", and dated 1951 on the back. Redein is a well-listed, well-exhibited (PAFA, NAD, AWS, etc.) and well-collected (Smithsonian, Whitney, Corcoran, NAD, etc.) American artist of Russian-Jewish origin who painted in New York as well as Provincetown, Woodstock, and Fire Island.
