| Original oil painting on canvas board by Joseph (Joe) Wolins (American, 1915-1999). This painting measures 18" by 24" (painting alone) and 26" by 32" in its frame. It is signed "Wolins" l.r. (with his distinctive signature in red), and again signed "Joe Wolins" and titled on the back. Offered in very good condition. Joseph Wolins studied with Leon Kroll at the National Academy of Design in the thirties. His works are in the collections of the Smithsonian, the Metropolitan, the Butler Institute of American Art, the Museum of Ein Hod in Israel, to name a few. He is also extremely well listed and exhibited. | |
