| Rare Gmundner Keramik figure of Johann Wolfgang Goethe designed by Michael Powolny circa 1907. The large figure measures 31 cm high and has the impressed Gmundner Keramik mark along with the shape number ‘160’. The photographs show the figure from all sides. There are a couple of minor glaze chips, which are very small and hardly noticeable, please see last couple of photographs where I have indicated these with arrows. There are no cracks or any restoration, this I guarantee, see my returns policy. Please see page 202 (ref WV76) of the book ‘Michael Powolny’ by Elisabeth Frottier for an illustration of this figure. This figure would look great along side the figures of Emil Meier. Michael Powolny was one of the Wiener Werkstatte designers. Please email if you have any questions. | ||
