Japanese carved granite votive figure of Jizo Bosatsu, guardian of children. The protective Buddhist deity in typical pose and gesture. Used as road markers for pilgrims on there way to temples and as votive offerings at appropriate shrines. 19th century or earlier. Very heavy, no mark. Dimensions" 24 1/2" tall, 9" wide, 5" thick.

Nicely gilt Thai bronze buddha of the Ratanakossin period. The head has been reattached. some cracks to the legs. C. 1800

Heavy Chinese brass/bronze repousse box. The interior is wood-lined with a single divider. The top of the box is hinged with a chain limiting motion on one side. There is a one inch linear crack in the base of the box, see photo.

Provincial Chinese green glazed teapot. The large pottery vessel with beautiful glaze (ending unevenly at the foot) and small, round top with knob handle intact. The form is in the style of early archaic bronzes. Good condition and several hundred years old. H: 8 1/2", W: 8"

Very fine quality pair of Rose Mandarin Vases. High relief gilt enamel animal figures adorn the necks and vivid colors on the body. Glaze pitting expected of early rose mandarin on the bases. Ca 1820s. No damage or losses. H: 9 1/4", W: 4 1/2"

This Han Dynasty Bronze Tomb Stove (206 B.C-220 A.D.) is quite rare in bronze. It is 9" long, 5" tall at the Flue and 5 3/4" wide - There is an animal face at the Flue tip. Minor damage. Greenish brown patina.

3 3/4" tall X 5 1/2 " long bull. Remains of brown and black slip. Chips on both ears. Buyer pays shipping, handling and insurance.
