Unusually large 13 inch powder horn. Probably Revolutionary war period but uncertain. Initials "AW" are carved into the wooden end cap. Handmade nails hold the butt plate in place. Stopper is missing. Worn remains of scrimshaw stick figures with man holding fish on horn body.

Fine 14th Century Central Thailand Terracotta Figure. Stands 3.75 inches high. Nice detail and in excellent condition.

Fine handmade brass box with rigaree on top c. 16th century. Used as a sander with perforated bottom. Measures 3.00 in height. Original patina.

17th-18th century carved wooden plaque, Dutch or French. "Man in Suit of Armor". Probably from a piece of furniture. Fleur de Lis deign in corners. About 3 3/4 X 7 3/4 inches.

This depiction of Saint Lucy of Syracuse is unmistakable with the symbolic eyes seen on the plate in her left hand. The reflection of our flash accentuates the profuse cracquelure which is present but not as prominent as a flash typically presents. The old unsigned canvas is laid down on artist board. There has been some restoration, primarily to hands. 17th century. Sight size: 14 1/2" x 11 3/4". (add 3/4" for the mat and 2 1/2" for the modern frame.)
