| Excellent large glass sculpture of a hippo by Italian glass artisan Pino Signoretto...probably 1980s or 90s vintage. This is a very attractive piece...a stylized, near cubist quality to the accurate rendering of the animal with lots of polished facet cuts that add a cool optical quality. The glass is very clean and catches light nicely. Size/Condition: Measures about 10"x 4.5"x 6.5". In great condition with some production tooling marks to the ears...no chips or cracks, has wear to the feet...weighs about 10 lbs unpacked. Engrave signed to belly, undated. | ||
