This Mexican sterling tiger eye & serpent pendant has a large honey-colored tiger eye cabochon in the center. This cabocho is bezel mounted. It is hallmarked "POM" in a Taxco 925 Mexico circle with a separate Eagle 1 assay stamp. It is in super fine condition. This pendant is 1 1/2" square. The bail adds 1/2" to the overall length. The tiger eye cabochon is 7/8" in diameter.

This is a fabulous Mexican sterling warrior bracelet from Taxco. The raised design of an Aztec warrior wearing an eagle head dress with geometric Aztec designs on either side. It is hallmarked Taxco and 925. There are no other hallmarks.

The interior cuff bracelet measures approximately 6 1/2" in interior circumference including the gap. The widest point is 1 1/8" at is widest part. It could be made smaller or larger. However, I would suggest taking to a jeweler to make the fit right for you. This bracelet weighs 36.8 grams.

There is a rub to the Japanned area on the right hand side of the profile.

Goodspeed was a cultural anthropologist with a keen interest in pre-Columbian archeology. She and her artist husband opened a gallery in Taxo, Mexico in the late 1930s and sold his work along with pre-Columbian artifacts. She designed and created jewelry and tableware and sold it through the gallery. Many of Goodspeed's pieces reflect Aztec and Mayan influences.

This Mexican brooch is pre-Columbian in design. The onyx face is decorated with a silver headdress, earrings, and neck ornamentation with “feather” pendants. The bezel-set stone face is onyx.

HALLMARKS: MEXICO; LCJ TAXCO, MEXICO Eagle assay #3 This hallmark is cited in Bille Hougart’s The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks. DIMENSIONS: 3 3/4” x 2”.

CONDITION: Excellent condition. The piece has a secure, rollover-locking clasp, as well as a large bail attached to a tube mechanism that slides on and off the pin stem. This Poulat style bracelet has a center row of bezel set amethyst tones. Each panel has a turquoise and coral accent stone. It is 6 1/2" x 3/4". It has a tongue and box secure clasp. It is hallmarked TP-102 and is in excellent condition.

TP-102 925 Mexico sterling is a mark of Matilde Eugenia Poulat and her nephew Richardo Salas ( an heir to Matilde's art).

Matl- Matilde Eugenia Poulat first started "Matl" in 1934 and continued designing some the most collectible Taxco silver until her death in 1960. Her designs for jewelry and religious figures were part of the new cultural vision among Mexico's intellectuals after the Revolution when they sought a new Mexican aesthetic. All Matl designs were executed by accomplished silversmiths under her exacting direction. After her death, her nephew, Ricardo Salas, continued the Matl-Salas line until her death in 2006.

This Miguel Melendez hinged bangle is patterned with irregular shaped 1 mm thick silver tiles or pavers, fitted into one another kind of scaling or print. The channels or recessed portions are highly oxidized and the brighter polished areas provides a great play on light-to-darkness.

It is hallmarked with two (2) separate circular marks and an assay stamping. One mark is the the lower case "m" surrounded with a large "C" followed by Taxco. The other is Sterling Mexico with Hecho En at the center and the eagle 3 mark.

It is 5/8" wide and weighs in at 2 1/3 ounces. Has a well working tongue in lever and box housing mounted under side which click securely closed. It has a linear length of 7" but an inner diameter of 2 3/8"
