| This Korda 'riding guard' from the Thief of Bagdad is gold plated base metal. This item was inspired by the guards on horseback who, in the film, make their way through the crowd, for the princess' arrival. This item was manufactured by the Rice-Weiner & Co, of Providence, Rhode Island. It is hallmarked with Thief of Bagdad, Korda and what appears to be a check mark 3 on one side and 61 or 6r on the other side. 2 1/2" x 2 5/8" . Excellent condition. Circa 1940. When Marked "Thief of Bagdad Korda" this was used on the jewelry from the movie "The Thief of Bagdad" | ||||||
