around the body in underglaze blue with a
continuous design of thirty 'magpie'birds.
The base shows a single 'magpie'sitting on her nest of baby chicks.The stopper is carved glass in the form of a dragon with a green glass collar. Condition: Excellent.

An elegant Chinese export blue&white butter tub encircled with finely painted sprays of flowers amid scrolling branches and leaves.The cover is painted with four floral sprays all within a stylized blue border.
Condition:Excellent with a few glazing bubbles at the very bottom of the tub.
