This outstanding Chinese porcelain teapot is globular in form with a flat infitting lid on top of which sits an underglaze blue Chinese Foo Dog.The curved spout is shaped into the likeness of a dragon's head,with the handle painted as the dragon's tail.The middle of the teapot shows a continuous scene of two finely painted dragons,each chasing a flaming pearl among the thick clouds.
