This large, beautiful wooden rice cake press,carved with a bird sitting on a flowering branch,was used to make an impression on the rice cake dough.The back of the press is cut out so that the hand can easily grip the wooden press. Condition: Excellent,with minor wear to to usage.Circa: Choson Dynasty,late 19thC. Size: 5 1/2"Dia. x 3/4" A wonderful piece of Korean folk art to add to your present collection.
