A Fine & Rare Underglaze Copper-Red Snuff Bottle,19thC
A superb Chinese snuff bottle of cylindrical form,well hollowed with a short neck,a slightly convex lip and a flat,circular foot and footrim. Finely painted around the body in pencil style showing twelve lotus flowerheads growing from scrolled stems under a border of small ruji heads that encircle the squat neck. Condition: Excellent. Circa:Qing Dynasty (1736-1850) Size:3 1/4"High.(without the top)Provenance:Bluett and Sons,London. A great selection for the astute collector.
