Very fine and rare,each bowl with steeply rounded sides is finely potted and slightly
inverted at the rim area.The bowls are brilliantly enamelled on the exterior with two ferocious five-clawed dragons striding through the flames and colorful cloud scrolls,each in pursuit of a'flaming pearl'. The one dragon is picked out in green enamel and the other picked out in a copper-red enamel,both with finely incised scales and brightly enamelled teeth and claws and bulging white eyes picked in a deep cobalt blue color,all above a swirling sea of water within two gold line borders at the rim and footed base.The six-character mark of Guangxu is inscribed in the base in underglaze-blue.
