A Well Carved Jade 'Ram' Paperweight, Early Republic
A finely carved celadon and russet jade figure of a recumbent Ram with head raised high,two serrated horns,a long finely incised beard and four well defined hoves tucked under the Ram's body.Condition:Excellent. Circa:Late Qing to Early Republic Period 1912-1949. Size;3 1/2"L. A superb Chinese carving usually found on the Scholar's desk.
