A Fine Ming-Style Blue&White Vase,18thC,Qianlong Period
This superbly potted cylindrical body,finely painted in rich inky blue colors,in fifteenth century style displaying three lobes,each finely painted with a different fruiting branch including Buddha's Hand citron,lychee and peach,all above a band of petal lappets rising from a slightly flared foot painted with classic stylized foliate sprays,all under an elegant band of barbed ruyi-heads below a keyfret border and band of upright plantain leaf tips rising to the mouthrim. The condition is excellent with a very small flake on the bottom of the rim foot(note photo & tks.)Circa:Qing Dynasty,Qianlong Period(1736-1795)Size:12 1/4"high.A fantastic 18thC Chinese porcelain vase from the Qianlong Period.
