This teapot is a very fine example of 18thC Chinese blue&white porcelain.A large globular teapot with a low domed lid and curved spout,painted in detail on both sides with elegant riverscape scenes,pagodas,waterside
buildings and two figures.An attractive blue&white diaper rings both the shoulder and lid.The applied handle and spout are also finely decorated in underglaze blue.
This teapot was probably made for export to either England or America. Condition:Excellent with minor wear to the finial due to handling&usage.Circa:Qing Dynasty,Qianlong Period(1736-1795)
