An outstanding Dayazhai bowl in round form with a slightly inverted rim and a footed base marked with four characters,'Yung Ching Chan Chun'(Eternal Happiness and Everlasting Spring)Decorated around the exterior with a Magpie sitting on a branch surrounded by vines of purple wisteria and flowering poenies,a three character mark,Dayazhai, meaning "The Hall of Great Culture"and next to it the oval seal mark'Tiandi yijia chun' (Spring in Heaven& on Earth) Condition:Excellent. Circa:Late Qing Dynasty (1880-1910) Size:4 1/4"Diameter,1 1/2"High. For collectors of Chinese porcelain this is a must have piece.
