| This is a fabulous Japanese Cloisonne round box and cover done in Kyoto Jippo style. The box is probably the work of Honda and is very heavy. The work on this box is incredible and every bit as good as Namikawa Kyoto Jippo pieces. The wires are guilded as is the inside of the box. Size is approx. 3 5/8" X 2 3/4" HIGH. Condition is excellent but for some extremely small and minor stress lines on right side of one panel on lid near the rim. (last photo). | |||||||||||||||
