| German or Dutch oil on canvas with stylized signature S.E. Bruyn. Horse drawn cart approaching along tree lined path. Late 19th or early 20th century. Purchased at C.G. Sloan's auctioneers in the '90s. Decent condition needing only a light cleaning and restretching. The frame is in salvage state - mostly stripped of gesso and with a coat of gold paint. Stretcher dimensions 31 3/4" by 15 3/4" (frame 37 3/4" by 22 1/4") Shipping additional (account for special packing - with our without frame [would ship most cost effectively in a mailing tube sans the stretcher].) | |||||||||
