| A good black and red lacquer cup with gold lacquer decoration of family crests among blossoming prunus and pine growth. Together with a little bamboo growth at the foot of a one of the prunus trees the 'three friends of Winter' are invoked (as is the Spring theme of the decoration.) The crests, or Mon, appearing are two Shippo Mon (precious things - this configuration known to be associated with the Emori and Kobori families) and one Takaha Mon (hawk feathers this configuration known to associated with the Fukuyama family in Bingo province.) Good condition with minor rubbing and wear (particularly along the foot rim) and light loss (one small spot along the rim.) Diameter 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm). Height 2 1/16 inches (5.25 cm) | |||||||||
