| Complete carved ivory chinese chess set with box. The kings are approximately 4" high and the queens 3 1/2" high. Kings, queens and bishops are individualized. Each of the eight pawns is a separate individual. The set is in excellent condition. NOTE: Many of the ivory items listed on this site were purchased from an elderly gentlemen who retired in 1985. He did most of his collecting in the 1960's and 70's. I am listing these pieces in Vintage Arts pre 1980. Although some seem to have greater age, I am not with any certaintity able to assign an earlier date to them. ALSO, ivory pieces will be shipped only within the United States. | ||
