| I am offering this astrolabe for a fried of mine who said it had been in his family for a number of years. A major English auction house stated in 1977 that it probably dated to the turn of the century (1900) or later and estimated its auction value at approximately $500.00. I have included several pictures with this listing - the front and back of the astrolabe when assembled and two pictures of the components of the astrolabe when disassembled. The diameter of the astrolabe is approximately 3 7/8". Should you wish any additional pictures, please let me know. Shipping and insurance on this item within the U.S. would be $7.00. If the buyer is not satisfied with the astrolabe the buyer may notify me within 3 days and return the item to me in the same condition within 14 days. I will then refund the purchase price (but not the shipping). | ||
