This fine line, streamlined sterling silver belt buckle is totally Betty Cooke. She is known for the light, airy simplicity of her Modernist designs. The buckle measures 2 3/16" wide and 1 5/16" tall. It accommodates a 1" belt. It is sold in the original box with Cooke's signature and her well known lavender tissue. This silver and lapis lazuli necklace is classic Betty Cooke - light and airy. It is made of silver tubes and round lapis beads in groups alternating from one to six throughout the 36" length. It is sold in the original Betty Cooke box with her handwritten signature and the purple tissue paper in which she wraps her pieces before lovingly sending them to their new homes. Cooke is 90 years of age and has been well known for her jewelry for some 60 years. This piece is about 25 years old.
