I have searched pattern books as well as my recollection and have not seen this design. It is closest to the obscure pattern called Night and Day. What appears initially to be a straightforward pattern is actually more complex. The white blocks have what look like squares on point overlapping background squares. It is finely pieced and elegantly quilted. Bellefonte, Pennsylvania origin; family information available to purchaser. Measures 90" x 93". Professionally laundered and in pristine condition.
