| Elegant Glazed Chintz Whole Cloth Quilt made of a pillar print fabric in sunny, warm Provencal tones. Attached to the quilt is a note saying it belonged to Mary Vaughn Lillibridge of Exeter. This quilt is illustrated in "The American Quilt" by Roderick Kiracofe who says it was actually made by Ms. Lillibridge. Unfortunately, we will never know which is more accurate. Excellent condition. Measurements are 86" x 97". Circa 1820; Connecticut origin. | |||||||||
