| I have never seen a Schoolhouse quilt that included the bells as this one does. Primitive in some ways but sophisticated in others. Has nice detailed embroidery including clappers to the bells and sashing on the windows. The choice of solid colors and straight forward houses give this an abstract quality. A small smudge and a worn spot are visible inclose-up photos. Measures 55" x 83". Circa 1930; Pennsylvania origin. | |||||||||
