Hooked, Knitted and Braided Rug: Circa 1890

Richly colored, abstract pattern rug done with a combination of techniques. The outer border is braided; the interior, I believe, is hooked and knitted. Professionally mounted on a frame that echoes the curved corners of the rug. Wired to be hung either vertically or horizontally. Looks like a Missoni sweater which, to my eye, is a great thing. Measures 23" x 37" circa 1890. Excellent condition.
