Lancaster County Amish Bars Doll Quilt: Circa 1920

Rare and real Lancaster County Amish Bars pattern doll quilt. Brown is wool; black is corduroy. Machine quilted as a doll quilt. Backing fabric has been recycled from an earlier piece and is hand quilted with concentric arcs. Slight damage to backing visible in last thumbnail photo. Front is in excellent condition. Binding machine sewn as is almost always the case with Lancaster County quilts. Measures 15 1/2" x 18"; circa 1920. While Amish doll quilts are known in the midwest communities, they are beyond scarce in Lancaster.
