| Star of Bethlehem (aka Lone Star) is rarely seen in the scaled down version of a crib quilt. Sawtooth border not only provides a great frame but assures that this piece was always a crib quilt, rather than a fragment of a larger piece. Fabrics typical of southeast Pennsylvania in the late 19th century. Well quilted; excellent condition. Professionally laundered. Measures 39" square; circa 1870. | |||||||
