| Tennessee Amish Double X pattern quilt (aka Bowtie or Hourglass) done in unusual color tones. Richly colored mauve provides a deep background for the tans and black of the interior and the chocolate brown border. Mauve quilting throughout shows particularly well against the brown border. Several areas of damage in the outer border; all else in very good condition. Measures 62" x 68". Wool front; cotton sateen backing. Circa 1920. | |||||||||
