| Droll seems like the best word to describe this unusual 1930's strippy quilt depicting various fruits. The same fabric was pieced in two different colorways to create an unusual palette. Strawberries, pears and apples were printed to look like lace as well as in solid colors. Reverses to a totally different printed backing seen in last thumbnail. Can be used equally well on either side. Pristine condition; measures 76 x 82". | ||||||||
