| This outstanding Bullseye quilt pattern is particular to the tiny town of Lenhartsville, Pennsylvania (Berks County). Fewer than a dozen are known and they were all made in the same tiny hamlet, the current population is which is 173. Very finely quilted, appliqued and pieced. Colors are softened with washing. Slight wear to about half a dozen blocks is visible in thumbnails. In spite of that, it is one of the most unusual and dynamic quilts. Circa 1870; measures 93" x 102". | ||||||||||
