| Unusual Nine Patch Hooked Rug that is more like a quilt pattern than that of a rug. Made of fairly heavy wools and hooked (or shirred?)in an unusual way that makes the texture look like brain matter. Cleverly composed so that the rust colored squares both outline the Nine Patches and are repeated to form corner blocks. Rich colors; pristine condition. Measures 26 1/2" x 65". Circa 1930. | ||||||
