A rare and massive Tibetan bronze double Vajra. Very fine,complicated casting.Smooth to the touch.Spun in a circular motion it creates a mandala. Uncleaned condition.Found in a box of old tools in the English countryside.Excellent condition. Tibet Circa 1800 6 1/2 inches L. 1 3/4 inches H.

An exceptionally fine Ghanta or bell from Tibet.The handle is cast with a head.The bell has cast in it 8 auspicious symbols;a row of dorjes around the bottom rim, and a long line of Tibetan script on top of the bell.Inside the bell is another row of Tibetan script cast in low relief. Very fine dark patina to handle and grey patina to the bell.Gives every indication of great age. Tibet Circa 1600 or earlier 5 3/4 inches H. 2 3/4 inches W.

This large and beautiful yellow ground painting is a folio from the Bhakti Ratnavali series from Mewar,Rajasthan circa 1760. The text is taken from the Bhagavata Purana and in this particular folio King Yudhisthira sits at the feet of Vishnu. Rajasthan,India Circa 1760 15 1/2 inches W 10 inches H. Framed- 23 inches W. 20 inches H. Some wear to gilding on the frame,expensive frame.
