An exceptionally woven silk textile with added gold and silver thread.The composition is a Daoist scene of 2 Immortals with a child and receptacle.Excellent condition. China Circa 1800 or much earlier,quite possibly Ming..nothing 'folky' it is a very sophisticated and accomplished textile 9 inches H. 9 inches L.
