A very finely cast high carat gold Buddha from Tibet.Tested at a local auction house.The torso is almost put gold and the base is a slightly lower carat. Total weight is 50 grams.

High copper bronze this Buddha is repousse.
Consecration in the form of paper prayer scrolls is visible deep inside.
The Buddha was damaged many years ago probably during the cultural revolution.The head was detached and re-attached during repair.
It was repaired in Tibet and placed back into veneration.It is intact with all its original parts.

Worn and smooth to the touch.Probably used as an amulet.
