An extremely fine and old figure of the hindu elephant headed diety Ganesha.Cast with an intricate back plate the 2 pieces are a tour de force of bronze casting.Ganesha is the remover of obstacles and his help is sought at the start of any new venture.

The leather boards are detached but have been saved.

Gently used condition.Frame is a little battered.
Moghul period.Early playing cards from India are rectangular,
later playing cards are round.
