Nicely carved, gilt and painted wood panel depicting Opera scenes, with areas of mother of pearl flaked highlights. Panel measures 5.75 inches tall by 16.875 inches wide, and is about .5 inch thick. There is a sawtooth hanger mounted center back top.

Condition: Good overall for age and material. There is an export seal on face at upper right corner. No apparent cracks, splits, or other losses. Please study the photographs.

Gilt and painted carved wood panel depicting scenes from "Dream of the Red Chamber". Framed and ready to hang. Panel measures 9.875 inches by 16.875 inches. Total outside dimensions are 12.5 x 19.5 inches.

Condition: Good overall for age and material. There is a separation along bottom edge of image area along a join (see enlargements 4 & 5); and a gouge in the raised inner frame next to the shoulder of the far right lady (see enlargement 3)...

Gilt carved wood panel depicting scenes from "Romance of the Three Kingdoms". Panel measures 6 inches high by 6.625 inches wide, and is 2 inches thick.

Condition: Good overall for age and material. There is a crack on back at left edge extending about .75 inch (see enlargement 6); and a split also on the left back (right side on face, as it is a split and goes through to the front)(see enlargements 3 & 5). Probably there are typical re-attachments, but we find no losses...

Condition: Good overall for age and material. The dagger blades extending at top are attached (see enlargement 2); there is a crack on back at right edge near center(see enlargement 6). Also there are nail holes along right edge where it was attached to whatever it adorned (enlargement 4); and nail holes from a sawtooth hanger top back center (see 6)...
