These are hand finished Colored engravings. The plates measure 10.5" x 7". This
plate reads Pl. II in upper right, Holly Leaved Oak in the bottom left, Quercus
Agrifolia at bottom center, and Chine a feailles de Houx at the bottom right.
The Title Page reads: "The North American Sylva; or, the Description of the
Forest Trees of the United States, Canada, and Nova Scotia, Not Described in the
