Chinese underglazed 3 color porcelain snuff bottle decorated with scenes of
figures in landscapes. From an old Seattle collection. 19 th Century with
Chenghua mark. Size: 2.631 inches (6.7 cm) tall, 1.682 inches (4.3 cm) wide
and 0.8 inches (2.03 cm) thick.
Condition: Firing flaws, especially in the form of burst bubbles (See enlargements), chip in shoulder at upper left on one side (see enlargement 1), missing a bit of metal in the cap (see enlargement 3). |
