The plates measure 10.5" x 7". This plate reads Pl. XLVIII in upper right, Wild Plum in the bottom left, Prunus Americana at bottom center, and Prunier d'.Amerique at the bottom right. The Title Page reads: "The North American Sylva; or, the Description of the Forest Trees of the United States, Canada, and Nova Scotia, Not Described in the Work of F.
