Costume of China Print of a Bookseller 1800
"A Bookseller" plate #06. From the work "Costumes of the Various Countries: Volume - The Costume of China." Illustrated in Sixty Coloured Engravings; with explanations in English and French. By George Henry Mason, Esquire, Major of His Majesty's (late) 102nd Regiment. London: Printed for William Miller, Old-Bond Street; by S. Gosnell, Little Queen Street, Holborn, 1800. Hand colored engravings by James Dadley after Pu-Qua. Large 4to size, 14.00" by 10.25" (35.56cm x 26.04cm).

Condition: Very good; few small spots; small line impression in paper across top, similar to a plate mark but not one (see Enlargements 3 & 4); binding edge; Includes original text page in both English and French and a copy of title page.
