Very creative and interesting teapot representing a firewood bundle along with the three friends of
winter by artist Tan Yuewei. He was born in 1959 and the winner of several awards for his teapots. In one of the logs is hiding a trapdoor spider (see enlargement 3). Teapot is marked on the bottom, at base of handle and inside lid (see enlargements 4 & 5 [shows marks on the bottom of teapot]). Measurements: Teapot approx. 3.00" tall by 7.00" wide (spout to handle) (7.62cm by 17.78cm).
Condition: Very fine, like new, unused. |
