Matted 8x10 1890 print of the extinct Quagga (equus quagga quagga) from the work "Friend and Foe from Field and Forest, A Natural History of the Mammalia" edited by Mrs. Grace Townsend, published between 1890, L.P. Miller & Company. The last captive quagga died in Amsterdam Zoo in 1883 just a few years before this wood engraving was published.
