Offered for sale is a very nice THORNTON'S CARBOLIC HEALING OIL 'for man or beast' medicine bottle that has the original box and contents. The insert claims many uses including antiseptic healing properties for cuts, burns, scalds, including the cure of sores and ulcers. Includes the veterinary therapeutic benefits for saddle gall, barbed wire cuts and much more! Measuring about 6.5 inches tall, this circa 1940s vintage bottle is an unusual find. The condition of the bottle is very good including the box and informational insert which has a great image of a horse. The box is printed in both English and French. The photos show the French version of the box. Made in Quebec, Canada. Great for one's veterinary or pharmacy collection! |
