Measuring 11.5 inches wide x 4.5 inches high at its "tallest" point, this vintage 1930's (NOT A REPRODUCTION), iron sign advertising the "American Beach, Florida, Negro Ocean Playground" was meant for use as a car license plate topper or emblem. This piece is in fine condition with just a trace of the original paint left--only on the woman's face. Faint superficial rust which would disappear with a little olive oil rub which will be left to the new owner if desired! A legitimate and scarce piece of Black Memorabilia! |
