Measuring 6.50 inches long, this diminutively -sized Black Mammy Spoon rest was made in JAPAN in the 1950's. Very few of these pieces survive due to the high level of use they encountered. This piece has obviously not seen any use at all as the paint remains absolutely perfect! No chips, cracks, breaks or repairs, this fine and very RARE piece of Black Americana is an essential addition for the serious collector! Fabulous detailing!!
